Defeated

So I'm back to fantasy/medieval stuff. This started out as a color study on one of Peder Mork Monsted works. I decided to change up some elements and add more story to the picture. I wanted to create a contrast to the idyllic scenery by having these two mofos fight. Painting the two dudes was pretty difficult as they are so far away that every detail on their armor and outfit could only be hinted at rather than precisely drawn in.
Anyways learned a ton with this one.
