Can't believe that this is my first Star Wars fanart I'm posting here since I consider myself to be a big Star Wars nerd! I just love this vast universe this epic saga is set in and I remember how it used to inspire me to really get into drawing and start my own comics when I was little.

This is Boba Fett facing a rancor on some desert planet. Used a little reference for the rancor. Photoshop CS6, wacom, around 4,5 hrs

I'm not too happy with how the whole thing turned out but I decided to upload it anyways...

I think I'm gonna do more Star Wars fanart in the future.

Comments appreciated!:)

Love the feel of this piece! The fact that Fett is just standing there, cool as ice while the Rancor bellows and claws it's way at him tells you everything about his character. The composition is also quite strong.

Thank you! Yes I tried to make Boba like a total badass just standing there looking at his next victim, cuz we all know how this fight is gonna end don't we?;)

Yep. One blaster bolt to the forehead. Ten credits says the Rancor doesn't make it two feet. ;)

Haha thank you! I guess it turned out alright but there is always difference between the actual artwork and the picture of what I initially had in mind. I think an artist should never be pleased with his work for that is the only way he can learn and get better at what he does;):)
